RU STAGE LAB for young adults
February 13- April 29
Tuesdays, 7pm

RU STAGE LAB is an opportunity for beginner adult actors, with Russian Jewish backgrounds, to utilize theatre as an instrument to delve into their family stories and explore how these stories connect to their lives today.

Participants will build up their “acting chops,” strengthening their voices, stage presence, and improvisation skills with weekly classes. Each class will be led by the theatre director Gera Sandler and actor Rebecca Karpovsky as well as invited professionals from the theatre industry. The participants will also have the opportunity to explore the industry further by attending professional theatre shows and other related events.

The class ensemble will create a final performance based on personal experiences of the storytellers presented at a NYC theatre.

*For ages 21 and above.  To SIGN UP please email Rebecca Karpovsky: to set up your coffee interview. Once the interview process is completed you will receive a registration link.
