A New York Times and New Yorker Critic’s pick and nominated for 2 Drama Desk Awards, The Golden Bride returns to the Museum of Jewish Heritage for a limited summer engagement. The show tells the story of a beautiful young woman named Goldele, who receives an unexpected inheritance, sets off on a journey across the seas to claim her estate, find her mother and offer her hand to the man who can help. The Golden Bride features a marvelous score by music virtuoso Joseph Rumshinsky and is performed by a cast of 20 and accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra. In Yiddish with English and Russian supertitles.
